Thank you so much for your interest in Cathy Blackstone Photography. My pricing is simple and straightforward. Because I am a busy, stressed out scatterbrained mom of four I try and make it as easy and painless as possible for both of us. I like to think that I run my business as if I were my own customer therefore I offer no packages, no prints and would never push a sale. Your session will include an online gallery complete with edited, full-resolution digital files ready for immediate download with a print release.
Payment is due on the day of your session.

Family
$425

Full family sessions are for when you want a nice collection of posed and candid images of your family.
Mini Family

*Session includes approximately an hour of shooting time in/near Westerville (Uptown, Inniswood, Hoover)

Mini family sessions are meant to give you that updated current photo of the family and the kids. Also, if you are interested follow my FB page to find out when I offer my Fall mini and Christmas tree farm mini sessions that are a lot of fun and fill up quickly!
Multi Family
$300 + $150 for each additional family unit

Senior
Option 1 - $350

This is for the Senior that just wants a handful of images. Feel free to bring a ball, instrument, letter jacket, or change into another top for a couple of images. Whatever can be managed in 30 minutes.
Option 2 - $450

This is for the Senior that wants to walk around an area (wooded area, city) and change into a couple of different outfits. Don't forget to bring your instrument, ball, or letter jacket if any of those apply to you.
Option 3 - $600

This is for the Senior that wants it all! Multiple outfits, multiple locations, a few with their dog, car, or at their school playing field. Feel free to throw in a friend or sibling or even update your family photo while you're at it. Many clients do!

Birth Stories

Birth stories are very real, very authentic and very powerful and as a result they are one of my very favorite things to photograph. Out of all of my personal photographs the one that is the most sacred to me (blurry, taken by husband, cheap camera, wrong settings) is one of me digging VERY deep to push out my third child. There was nothing beautiful at all about how I looked but the moment was beautiful and I am so glad he captured it. I knew then that I wanted to provide this service to other moms to be. I take a very thoughtful and respectful photojournalistic approach to this. Most of your images will be black and white but if the color version looks good I will of course include those too - it just depends on the time of day and lighting. I will get all the details that you most likely would forget like the front of the hospital, your crew in the waiting room, your room number, shots of your nurses and all of the machines and gadgets associated with your delivery. But what is so amazing about birth photography is that I will be there for your babies first breath, first cry and of course capturing the overwhelming moment that you first meet.
I will put your due date on my calendar and be “on call” as your day approaches. Once you head to the hospital we will stay in touch and I will arrive when you reach 6-7 cm. I will stay up to 2 hours after you deliver so that I can catch the weight, footprints and anything else you may want.
This is one of the most important days of your life and by hiring a birth photographer you and your partner can remain in the moment while still documenting every detail and emotion.
Fresh 48

Fresh 48 sessions take place in the hospital within the first 48 hours of a baby's life to capture first milestones such as the first bath, breastfeeding, meeting siblings, etc.
