HOLY WINTER!
I don’t mind winter if there is snow. Well we got snow. About a foot. Brad threw his back out shoveling, lol. I JUST got an email that it popped back in. The subject of the email was YES! I was so hoping he finally won the lottery (he plays every week) but instead his back popped back in.
Here is the pretend shot of the four of them that makes me look like a fantastic mother with well behaved children:)

Here is reality. The frame before …… and it is ALWAYS Jackson. ALWAYS. Not the baby. Not the drama queen. Jackson. Always.

Here is a shot of Dane after Brad rolled over his head sledding ….

Better times…..

My brown piece of precious velvet love got a haircut.

Some of you might find it cruel to shave a dog in the middle of winter. Brad went back and forth on it. Brad felt bad for him. but Brad lives at work. I live at home. Brad didn’t ever have to deal with Sasquatch coming back inside after his playdate with the snow. I did. It looked a little like this……

This magnificent beast likes to throw his toys up in the air and try to catch them. If he misses well then he likes to run, roll, pounce, and burrow through the snow until he finds them. We call it orca and seal because it looks like the footage of the killer whale throwing the seal up in the air and playing with it before he has it for dinner.
This magnificent beast had to come back inside after he was done playing. Guess who had to be waiting for him with a towel? Brad? Self preservation people, self preservation.

Here is a shot of our home. We had it painted this year. It’s still new to me and I love it. We had the trim painted white and it makes all the difference in the world.
So I was down in the basement looking for my snow boots and guess what I found? The exact same heart that is on the door now. Loved it so much I bought it twice:)

So Ellie has a boyfriend. They have been smitten with each other since the first grade. It’s well known and accepted among their peers. It’s adorable and delightful and I love his mom. So all is right with the world. But the story of the week is that he made her a skirt. Totally not kidding. He made her a skirt out of scraps of fabric. Like sewed it on a machine with a straight stitch and zigzag. Story doesn’t end there. SHE WORE IT TO SCHOOL. She hopped up in the morning. Threw on her jeans and shimmied that skirt right on up. I was poops and giggles about it.
And this would be the shot before the hair was combed…..

Spent some time with this delicious baby and I want more. I don’t have many sessions with newborns and it gave me such a high. In fact I might beg the mom for some more. We’ll see:)
