So excited to finally capture these girls on a perfectly beautiful evening. The first time I took their family shots it was hot. Like crazy hot. Like I think the hottest session EVER and it was even a morning session. The second time I took their pics it was freezing and Isla was a fussy snotty red-nosed mess. I felt so bad. Come to find out she had a double ear infection:( So this time around it was perfect. Finally!
Keelin loves me and works it for the camera…

Isla doesn’t love me and makes me work it:) Mommy even had to disappear. Eventually she warmed up because no one can make a fool of herself more than yours truly.
How funny is this set?
Might be one of the better shots I have ever taken EVER EVER EVER, lol. Umm, not really kidding.

The image that no one has to love but me:)
Love the energy these girls have. From the moment we meet they are jumping and spinning and running and laughing and chit chatting and dancing.
I was so lucky to get these initial shots before Maddie realized there were lots of ants crawling around. Maddie isn’t a fan of anything that has 6 legs:)
Note to self (and any photographer that reads this blog): I have to remember to always get the shot over the kid jumping up into my lens. It always always always turns out. I’ll forget to do it for 6 month stretches. Hopefully if I write it down I will remember now.
A little ring around the rosy action. Maddie wouldn’t sit, lol.

Thank you frogs for communicating very loudly that you wanted a partner to mate with:) Makes for good images. The girls thought you were hilarious.
Even though it was supposed to be just a kid session I had to get this shot of dad in.
So lucky to watch this family grow. Love being FB friends with their mamma Jessica. She is so kind and such a supporter of mine. Keeps me going. Love building this relationship. Muuuah!
Lucky to have my camera with me while we waited to eat at his favorite breakfast place on Father’sDay.
After we ate Mr. Blackstone got to pick out a rose bush (he likes them, I don’t). It’s already planted.
Ellie is with family friends on a trip to West Virginia. Weird not having her around. We feel like a limb is missing:(

And just because it’s hilarious….
Brynn thought a hillside was her stage of course:)
And this one finally got his hair cut and I want to squeeze and hug and kiss him all day. Not going over well.
We’ve earned this. It’s been 12 years of not so easy.
I think in the last 3 months we have spontaneously hung out and seen the Reimer’s more than in the last 6 years. Not kidding.
We are finally there and it feels really good. Susan fills my cup:) She’s that shiny person that walks into the room.
What is even better is that our kids love each other and get along splendidly. No fussing, no crying, no drama – they just blend – and it’s nice. Really really nice.
These 4 had a blast jumping away.
Then we ended the quick night with smores. Perfect. We went crazy and tried them with Reece’s cups. Delish.
